TropiChoco is a brand concept for an Ecuador-based specialty chocolate company.
Chocolate comes from the pods of the cacao tree, a plant native to the Upper Amazon region in South America. Chocolate as we know it is made by fermenting, roasting, and grinding cacao seeds.
TropiChoco blends traditional chocolate-processing methods with modern chocolates. The brand focuses on ethical agricultural and labor practices to appeal to the environmentally-conscious consumer. This is communicated with botanical imagery, natural-looking paper, and the icons on the side of the box.
The color scheme uses a warm yellow and dark brown. I worked under the constraint of only 2 colors, not including the color of the paper.
